Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative WordPress Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate is proficient in WordPress development, understands best practices for performance and SEO, and has experience building visually appealing, highly functional websites.

As a Remote WordPress Developer at Tona Designs, you will collaborate with our designers, project managers, and clients to develop custom WordPress websites that align with client goals and industry standards. You’ll be responsible for coding, implementing themes and plugins, optimizing site performance, and ensuring seamless user experiences across devices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites using best practices

  • Customize themes and plugins to meet project requirements

  • Optimize website performance, security, and SEO

  • Ensure responsive and accessible designs across all devices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently

  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in WordPress development, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Elementor Page Building Experience

  • Experience with custom theme and plugin development

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and website optimization

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting

  • Experience with Git, page builders, and APIs is a plus
